LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- Louisville's Charlie Strong is expected to become the next football coach at the University of Texas.
Multiple media reports say Texas has offered Strong the job to replace Mack Brown as the Longhorns coach.
Strong would reportedly be paid as much as $25 million over five seasons.
Texas and Louisville officials are not confirming the reports.
Strong reportedly is meeting with his Louisville coaching staff this morning.
In his four seasons at UofL, Strong has led the Cardinals to four consecutive bowl games, including victories in the Sugar Bowl and the Russell Athletic Bowl.
